Francisco de Quevedo
Francisco de Quevedo (1580-1645) was a prominent poet in late 16th century and early 17th century Spanish poetry. Beyond his poetry, he was also a politician and satirist. He was a large part of the Spanish Golden Age (Siglo de Oro) of poetry; he was well known for his Boroque style of writing. His legacy is apparent, and he still impacts many modern poets.
