Joaquina García Balmaseda

Joaquina García Balmaseda (1837-1911) was a poet and actress. She advocated for Women’s education and social empowerment both in her literary works and outside of them. She remains undervalued today, despite her beautiful works. She had an ethereal writing style, crafting impressive and monumental works.
